to tom:
you don't have shit if you do that never, too
too, too, too.
(As Frank exited the porch)
"I accidently said a double negative, so I threw in a bunch of positives and hoped it'd work itself out."

i had an old joke about tequila being the difference between being drunk enough to be IN the country bar
and actually getting kicked out
over something to do with the mechanical bull...
i must revise...
twas my lucky day i found that not the drink causes two steppin' to britney,
not many women have i accidently had a reunion
well as if i needed green apple ANYTHING ..
happy birthday with dancin' cowboys, bitches!
you don't have a choice
truly the best trick candle to date! a guy in a ten gallon hat and boots in your lap ending a harmonica solo then leading the crowd in a happy b-day -
between singing off key and laughing i couldn't have blown that out if i tried!
whoo hoo!
what a fucking hoot!
they won't remember that as well as when they are reminded of who they just offended (it sounded better with a fiddle)

The drunken editor struck again I see...
Country music is for pussies
It may be 5:00 somewhere to start drinkin', but there ain't a single guitar-armed redneck out there crap twangin' about
it may still be 5:00 a.m. somewhere to find another bar with cuter chicks or just drunker ones before giving up and hitting the strip joint
There is no "twang" in "poon-tang," but a fun rhyme
for two words that both mean PUSSY
(and no disrespect to the old school boys, the ones who are glad their dead rather than hear the shit they do now, esp. Charlie Daniels, who I never thanked for handing me my college diploma, and johnny cash, cause he probably wouldn't approve of me beating up a boy named Sue)

My other blog account is titled "It's really late"
no shit!
and NONE of that makes sense
i'll screw editing for knowing
having the week that i've had
and knowing i've got a lot of work to do
that i had a little fun
on a fucking school night
oh, and get a second shot at seeing people sing with puppets
we get another chance to see Ave Q for free
(195.00 to see this, but everyone says it's wonderful)
Joel was struck down with the stomach flu last time
so tonight puppets HO!
the only thing i think of when i hear Ave Q
is before i knew what it was my co-worker had been back to NY
to visit some friends
one of them was the roommate of a guy that wrote music for it
Jeff Mercer? (i'll know at 10:00)
she said she never saw him and all he ate were puffy cheese doodles.
(cheezy poofs)
he told me there were all these huge popcorn size -
orange powder covered cheese poof tins stacked up all around the outside
of his bedroom door
now that's dedication I can admire
fuck Dilbert
to everyone with or without puppets -
have a good show!

Screw Sept.
A good friend wrote me something she had read about mental illness. It's origin is a manifestation of what we are avoiding or trying to escape from.
What's so nuts is that I have had such a ride lately, that I've gone from postal, to mental, to the paranormal.
Yes, I have sunk that low that I'm now looking for misery on other planes of fucking existence to hassle.
(got to admit, it was a hoot rifling through EVPs and finding video footage)
Hey, if you want to check out a cool site www.ghostpix.com.
Though I be a girlyman, some of it's pretty spooky as hell. 'Tis the season!
Happy October, everyone!
(and send me your Halloween costume ideas, i gotta throw one together tonight -nothing my old hippie clothes and glow in the dark body paint won't quick fix -
but i got nothin' -)
Oh! and Frank, I'm a piece of shit for not Fedexing yet - the job is kinda nuts, BUT we are planning on driving up to SLC for thanksgiving, have truck and will travel to Logan, if we can - are any of the 20 shows you are in playing then? let me know if you are going to be in town!
Love you!

This one's for you, Bruce:
Rhetoric is a pretty smart word for a stupid question.
(material ain't easy to come by these days for me too, dude. as i'm in the middle of compiling my comedy notes to get back onstage soon, i felt it appropriate to dedicate my first new original joke ever blogged
to my bridesman)
frank, hope you are faring like they fare when they fare fair to super fair
talk soon
and farewell

Ah-ha! Leave it to JayC to occupy my man long enough for me to get my bloggers back in the link show!
Since I've been slackin' on updating ye ole wedding website, I figured I'd throw in my first blogger photos while the Pirate geekdom continues into this fine morn.
More to come on www.joelanddeannegetmarried.com, but till that DnD all-nighter happens again...

Aw, DUDE, Now I'm BLAZIN' HOT pissed!
I should have known the new format would kick off all my JAMMIN' links to other JAMMIN' blogsters,
but I didn't, so that bites the asshole of the hand that stole my rent money.
I will see to it that I find the time to reconnect, find all blogpages old and new, get to know all of you - all over again, for the first time,
and it will feel like the very first time...
just like the feeling Foreigner sings about EVERY goddamn day on the radio station I've been listening to 8-ish to 4:00 pm (sharp) for the last 5 fucking years STRAIGHT.
Sorry, don't like change when it unexpectedly takes up my time, or has a bad soundtrack.
Guess I could get Blog link "selective" and only figure out how to add those who post more than what enables a large group to gather and quote in person: "I have a quirky sense of humor."
That's bull, though.
I'll not have the time to include ANY clicking fool out there on my linkage that types about even other Deannes.
Sucks too, cause people with my name usually are Fucking CRAZY muthas - identified by a capital "A" following the Upper cased prefix that only beings a positive when DE-lightful, DE-licious, (or DE-frocked... sorry, personal favorite).
I still identify with my name as I did as a child - I was given a fabric doll that was so large we exchanged clothing - Raggedy Anne.
Ragged Deanne.
So fine, I never see me leaving by the back door -
because I can't afford a place with one -
++++
restless tonight, and not making much sense, but don't fucking care
worked on comedy tonight - that's good - it's sounding real good-
with Joel and I making the pact - "that-if-it-makes-you-feel-like-throwing-up-don't-do-it"- i have straightened out my issues-s-s with the theatre, but grow more and more aware each day i look at 8:00 digitally daring me to stay or go vomit, that the job needs to change ASAP
we have decided putting the wedding loot into a bank CD, and using it when we have the time to not be fucking shafted (by our FRIENDS!), and the time to force our finances to be stable (in the wake of the wedding, job changes, etc.)
a little confessional, i suppose. i did have a strong goal set on a house by Dec. - and we could have, but not with our full attention, money, or security of knowing we were making a right decision - which for anyone who knows us, doesn't exist -
i even had close friends pressuring me right and left for a quick loan connection, so quick that they wanted my info quicker than they were sure that Joel should be included on the paperwork...
anyway, learning a lot about marriage, i guess, but more about life.
pisses me off a bit that all of my debt and hard times, and not pursuing better employment or my callings, would actually be just all fucking dandy by me if it weren't for Joel. hey, it's cool, we're happy, yeah, poor me, BUT if I didn't already have my shit together as a CHICK at age 30 - you think I'm doin' backflips having to start REALLY fast at 32?! - cause now it's official and shit -
I have to get my life.
As pathetic as I think that I had to have someone else be involved for my own incentive to succeed as an individual, I am thankful that I still think I can.
Even after today, even after this morning, even during this re-lapse, even before I leave for a job I live to quit...in an hour.
I still want to.
That's a plus, right?
I still think I can.
That's all that matters, right?
Thanks, folks!
Try the veal buffet,
I used to be there all week,
hosting the open mic,
it was good then.
++++
Fuck you, Hatchell.
++++
with a lot of my ventures lately - i have run back into - over and over - comedy -
even being up late - i worked on it -
i am seething to perform again
it is my redemption
======
funny, that after all these years with the knowledge that writing humor was the only thing i couldn't stop doing - even after i stopped performing
it may have been redemption all along
incessantly
------
you all know how to pratt laugh, right?
right?

I'm hoping that if i keep the sentences short
they won't force the recent post scroll to
eternity that seems to be going on.
Good to hear that Frank is remaining in
Logan!....
For once!
I can't believe he fooled me AGAIN with
his "i'm-taking-antibiotics-and-will-be-
fine-if-you-blow-it-a-kiss-for-now-until
-I-see-you-to-get-it-in-person" gag!
Well,
that and the fact that NO ONE
is more thankful than I that he wasn't
in Vegas needing serious medical treatment.
My sir,
if read, or possibly read to, before I
get my lips on your ears, it is passed that
I love and miss you
giving me shit.
Puckered,
Deanne
P.S. - Overdue

Attention Everyone:
Fellow Blogger Frank is currently in the hospital with in inflamed who-who and could use some love. The direct line to his room is 435-716-3357. Anyone with a moment, I'm sure he'd appreciate a dropped line or two along with our well wishes and blown kisses.

Well, 32 looks about the same as 31 for those of you who don't know yet.
It is the time of year I go home.
This is the first year that I won't be going alone.
I knew at 30 and two weeks after visiting SLC that he would be going eventually. It's a strange trip to share just as everything has been up to this point.
The week of the 4th is a time of relaxation and reflection.
Good timing for both of us. Every single facet of life outside of our relationship is shifting dramatically and our minds and backs are cracking.
Even if I land empty handed, it will be nice to go home.
Everything that has somehow turned into MY job to make happen in Vegas, can fucking kiss my ass while they stay the FUCK in VEGAS!
Thank you, try the veal buffet, ... and then fucking shoot me.
If I don't perform soon, I'm going to go crazy.
It would actually sound frivolous in most cases when I say that all things not me, Joel or comedy, I instantly harbor immense resentment toward, but not these times. These are truly the blurst of times for even the stupidest monkey, especially chickee monkeys. I keep teetering between determination, ambition, happiness, and fear on the interior while dealing with an increasingly excruciating work situation.
Change is forcing itself and I know that, but don't have to know me well to know my weaknesses. True malice is a better reason to challenge someone's intellect than for just the mere sport of misogyny.
I think I will take the day off and get laid.
Or I'll go in and kill some coworkers and then come home early and get laid.
Hell, I'm losing my youth and no better reason to demand attention than on your own personal New Year!
Either way somebody's gonna be screamin' whether I have company or not.
Cheers everyone!
Have fun today, for me, DAMMIT!
Yes, that's right I'm not afraid to threaten you with a good time,
so go fuck yourselves
and we'll miss you in Myrtle.

It's a little difficult to go back and express accurately the wedding.
As I daily hear more hilarious and weird stories of what other people experienced that day, I feel I missed most of what was going on.
Even the professional pictures leave a bit to be desired...

(everything's listed under the groom's name strangely - I didn't change my name, and booked, signed, and paid for them...anyway)
It was beautiful and fun, and we have about 30 cameras that will tell more tales than I'm sure we should be able to eventually afford to find out.
I will continue blogging more and at length, but just needed to at least say SOMETHING that wasn't yet another unfinished post stuck in 'draft' land forever.
My life is enjoying playing the sick joke of 'and you thought things would calm down after the wedding', so's I gotta take the insomnia as it blesses.
Lots more to say, to gush, and many to thank.
But that's for soon blogged.
Tom, you are a little bitch.
If getting slapped like one is why I don't know your plans, you betta hide muthafucka.

Just wanted to put in my 2 cents of revision before it's gone.
They were orchids.
Some of you may have worn one.

Today Deanne fell.
Again.
Joel surprised me at the office with beautiful pink and white irises.
They matched my eyes.
I still oft am asked how can one be absolute they'd want to be with one person for the rest of their lives. It's near impossible to explain it to anyone who hasn't experienced it - doesn't make sense objectively.
He knows more about my own strength than I do.
I have been trying, but for Joel, I will succeed.
He is why I care where I land.
Thank you, Joel.
I love you, too.

Been a long day
joel told me thank you for the blog and i had to go back and look at it
that made me happy
threw a fit over the officant bullshit
but that was the day before
and the blog was the day before our anniversary
we spent it getting the wedding license
it was a blast
and we were finally happy unabated
a lot of memories visited for parking and a marriage document, no action figure, but
forced to validate our parking at the fremont street casino, so got some crappy light shows while listening to al green shopping for my wedding jewelry and for the first time EVER buying those tacky as hell Tall plastic frozen daquiris that seem to prelude every bad scene on the strip -
we giggle like hell getting lost and getting a high five from the speed freak flyer boy because we already had a location and vendors and then taking his advice that we should take our big ass drinks inside or they probably wouldn't let us get a license-
taking his advice we left them outside
got the license by a chick doing her first one
looking at the calendar date glaring us in the face of the day we first met 2 years ago
we got our plastic glasses and took them home - joel says its the biggest straw he's ever seen
i said we now have our champagne glasses
======
it was a nice moment
=======
the rest however -
still think chicks are stupid and crazy
and i will cry all the way it keeps taking me to the bank
----
i am glad i got to remember that again -
it was a little more descriptive than the bachelorette party plans i found on a piece of ripped in half blux ox letterhead reading:
"-whip-Ron-tassle-lime
- Aladdin - S&M
- Courtney get laid
-Megan - find a man -
that fuckin' drama
-tie up Deven"
well, that sums it up

Ha! I just found that I drafted a rectifying blog on April 20th because I had broken my own cardinal blogger code and missed a month without a post.
Oh well it was there, on 4/20 - which means nothing if that's not your birthday or you don't smoke weed.
I am glad I'm here and not there for a re-entry post.
I wanted to take a break from writing the ceremony and didn't feel like cleaning, so the popping back in without a planned agenda feels pretty good.
Many strange and unfortunate events have come and gone and still are with the planning and within the lives of some around me (and time consumingly faked by many others that have chosen to not be), but things still go on.
After a long hard road of misogynistic bridal hell, I was amazed when I was struck by the accidental discovery of what marriage actually meant to me.
Funnily enough, I really expected just to let it drive me nuts, but, out of nowhere during another pinnacle intensity of exactly why is all of this automatically my job, I found it. And true to this love's fashion, it explained why everything else
had happened too.
What a bargain!
I still don't recommend marriage to anyone, whether you believe in it or not. For any smart woman, it's not a fun journey. For any stupid one, I hope the receipt was just as cute as your laced dignity when it was lost. For the men, remember that the commitment isn't a gift, it's dumping the weight for someone else to decorate.
Take it from me, self proclaimed forever single, and advocate of the equal responsiblities that elopement offers, if you must have a flippin' wedding,
help.
JOel and I are babes in the woods and have slowly been able to sort through the strange situations that weddings bring about, but I have learned above all -
we are lucky that we have each other through something this large
I learned early that this would be a lonely venture without Joel's help and support
every woman I know has uttered the infamous 'if you need any help...'
and followed them with unreturned voicemails.
it was hard to swallow at first - though just another banner of proof that my friendship isn't weighed on scales with the same depth, accuracy, or worth
again just another reason to loathe women - even if I were drooling with fairy princess nuptial bliss with plastic figurines on top - i'd be wiping it up myself after I paid the vendor -
my girls let me down - i know who's busy, i know who's not, i know that i have moved passed the point of caring
joel and i by default have clung to each other to make this right for us
we have conquered every circumstance to get here
and we are going to enjoy every second of what we worked for
and you know what -
so, i did change my ethic and tied the knot
NO big surprise that I would do it in Las Vegas
BUT never did I expect to be told my wedding had been announced by a reviewer in the theatre section of the Las Vegas Review-Journal.
Well, girls, for all the protest I will still spout, joel and i know that what we have deserves all the props we can give it
with or without a nationally publicized entertainment listing and acting credit.
with each detail that is crossed off - we grow more excited to the day all of our friends will be here to have some fun on us -
i must go
but keep my chin up as the countdown speeds because it means we'll soon met again
and ooooh, what a time
will be had
take care, fuckers

Happy Patrick's
to those that had one
(or who giggled cause they made one happy once! Whoo!)
JOel and I had a conglomerate of the insane meeting the more insane.
Tense and enclosed began a string of links to memory lane.
last year's Paddy's was
going to Jon and Shawn's
leaving for more fun closer to Joel and TJ's place that wasn't Daniel Day Lewis
hanging out at Magoo's with Erik and throwing darts
staying up later than I can ever remember Joel do so
great goddamn music
dancing with the old chick to Al Green
TJ wanting to fight her man
laughing like hell as my glasses fell into the toilet
finding out later that they knew damn well what we were doing
smoking on the balcony and giving TJ shit
arguing over something while blanketing Erik
making Joel set the alarm clock spawned by Satan
hearing the murmurs of them talking through the door
joel laughing and pissed that i was missing it
waking up
late, (back when it was still excusablely frequent)
feeling like total shit
drowning in Clear Eyes
dying of thirst
being pissed that i had to leave a warm bed i knew that he'd be keeping it that way for every hour i hadn't slept after I left
AND one of the funniest moments i will always remember:
simultaneously me flying out of Joel's room for water as TJ bolted out of his for the front door
both stopping dead before slamming into each other
to exchange a quick look of
COMPLETE surprise,
then sincere admiration that the other wasn't full of shit
and actually made it up for work
good for us
this year's Paddy's:
waiting for TJ at a crap "irish" casino while he finished his visit to Jon and Shawn's
going to the NY NY briefly and finally seeing the piano bar that I had tried to take Joel to on our second 'date'
(because we had gone to the Tabernacle on our first, but was closed for rennovations and ended up just eating at the new restaurant "Nine Fine Irishman")
Joel saying we should stop in the "nine fine irishman" and say hello to Erik
(because, funnily our first conversation with Erik was on Paddy's day the year before and was the night we learned he worked there)
More so strange is that we decided to go to Magoo's
because Tj now lives in the Henderson galaxy far, far away and us, eh, we gots beer at home.
More so strange is that I played most of the music, but didn't realize until 3 hours later when an Al Green song played, that the SAME old chick that I danced to Al Green with the year before and her 'younger man' that TJ wanted to fight were sitting in the exact same seats, that we saw them last year.
I didn't offer any free dances and it was a couples party, so it turned out just as fun.
Joel and I didn't downtown boogie in the men's restroom, but were given a nice window of past, present, and future of what we are doing.
We saw the young ones, the old ones, and ourselves. We were more deviant than the kids, more jovial to repeat than the elders, and more than happy to have even the budding nubile tensions of two things constantly together.
You'd think by now I wouldn't be surprised by synonomous, circular events, but I it was again the explosive recognition that we made it to the exact place and time that we were supposed to get to- this would mean nothing to anyone one else at any other moment - and we made it we were right on fucking time
by accident
what a coincidence
hee, see? even frank was there again by theory
Just an aside for anyone who cared to make it this far
What follow is my post from last year's Paddy's Day
I thought the differences in recollection hilarious
Funny what time and sobriety can do to a memory.
Why the fuck is everyone else at home today, but me?
Me? Drunk on St. Patrick’s Day?
I can’t imagine what gave it away.
Persuasive pyromania
Failed Blacks & tans
Campaigning to exploit young women
Actually EATING steamed cabbage
Bagging up garbage not affiliated with the party
Accusing the absent of doing drugs without me
Changing the movie venue then leaving
Making understood that I do not understand
Ignoring “Magoos + school night = chick that knows better”
Bullseye, 1, 1, 1, 3, 1, 1, 1, bullseye
Paying $3 for $20 to play $2 of music
Tripping the sticky carpet fantastic with the old chick
Yelling at her boyfriend for treating my man like a pimp
Stalking the men’s room to attack my man
Watching my glasses fall in the toilet while gripping the handicapped bar
Telling him I did not care they were in the toilet as I gripped the handicapped bar
More campaigning to exploit young women
Suggesting MORE beer
Hating every movie anyone has ever liked for no reason
Giving TJ shit for trying to salvage some responsibility
Tucking in a stranger
Bitching at the stranger for thanking me for tucking him in
Making my man set the alarm for 2 ½ hours later
Listening to him laugh and not wanting to miss it
Waking up at the exact time I should have been at work
Finding the guest gone
Feeble excuse to work
Shower, Clear Eyes, Clear Eyes
Seeing my surprise reflected in TJ’s eyes that we were both up
Kissing goodbye sweet, warm slumber
Having to make good on the feeble excuse
Staring at flight maps and slow digital time
Wondering why the fuck is everyone else at home today, but me?
It was a very Happy St. Patrick’s Day.
Indeed.

Monday, Monday
It rained all day today.
I spent all weekend holed up in my cell. Although, inadvertant, throwing out my back was a hell of a lot cheaper than rehab.
Upon emergence, I learned Hunter S. Thompson shot himself yesterday.
Within the same hour, three people called because they had just heard and wanted to see if I was okay.
One friend spoke of her wedding invitations.
Later, I argued with my mother over the same thing, born out of a sick prestige that has evolved within me over these last years where font and content now somehow matter absolute.
I stumbled upon a new picture for my computer areas and printed two out on the color printer in the flight office.
I fought the internet to get ahead on my flight planning. Hours of refreshing molasses for lock ups, hindering the pretty, colorful maps that already exhaust my time, intellect, and patience worn as thin as the paper they are wasted upon for a moron that doesn't need them anyway.
I finished the last of 327 thank you letters for donations to the Las Vegas Little Theatre.
I entered 20 more addresses into the wedding database.
I was almost home when I remembered I left the other copy of the picture on the photographer's printer.
I had to smile.
Taken on his ranch in Colorado, it was Hunter S. Thompson standing in three feet of snow with a cocked 12 gauge shotgun aimed at a typewriter.
Though worth much less than the thousands of words he had his way with, it is a new reminder of something I never should have forgotten.
I left Colorado to find out for myself.
I am still here, and you are missed.
He has you on his hands now...
that lucky bastard.

I must go to sleep, but I hope everyone had a good day.
I really did want to leave some sort of post.
So here's to JayC.
A memory of his blog led me on a nice trip back down the lanes...
So with very much love,
Goodnight, every body.

I wish it could be realized that happiness is within our grasp here, and now. It's not a phantom to be chased...it's not a mystery to be solved. It's just a decision. To have it...or not. In spite of all the things that make us unhappy...perhaps they to are a link to the very cause of our happiness. It's all part of the great adventure. I love that Frank's phone is a coke can. I love that Erica has discovered a source of her questions about her own personality. I love that Joel and Deanne found each other. Whether it lasts or doesn't isn't important. Who cares. They have each other now. Maybe everything isn't supposed to last forever. Maybe it is. Who konws...or cares.

her only regret is that frank and the larsens won't be gracing us.

Well Joel. Farewell from us here in the cold hell of Cache. Drive safely my friend, and dazzle them, and just remember, when you do something and it goes wrong, listen to the words of Gene from "The Author's Voice" : YOU'RE DOING IT ALL WRONG, DON'T YOU KNOW YOUR PART? IT'S SUPPOSED TO BE BEAUTIFUL.

Actually Joel, YES...
Phil Collins was mocked on South Park. Timmy's very first appearance on the show. Besides has Phil Collins ever fucked Rachel Hunter??? Phil is still way worse. And I'm pretty sure he kills kittens for fun.

Fuck you JO, there's no way your weekend could have been better. He would have just stolen time away from us, and he gets you any time he wants anyway.

A funny thing about nippels. They look very different, but still taste like skin. Another funny thing about nipples. They're called nipples. <;-)

The day has come
the dawn will damn it.
And I will be off to new horizons.
And I will be sad.
And I will be happy.
This is an interesting situation.
I have nothing but opportunity in my vision.
I am very fortunate.
And this will be the proving grounds.
Thank you to all who have given me aid.
I am not a religious man, but I truly feel blessed.
To have such a tight group of support.
You know me, some of you better than I know myself.
And I hope that means you know I'll never betray you.
I'll never betray myself.
I know what I have to do is right.
I also know I have to do it.
Deanne, your fortune is my future.
Jayc our future is just that, in the future.
Erica, change is not a cure for boredom, and being content is not giving up.
Frank, you are one of the most beautiful people I've ever met. Your physical prowess is endlessly exceded by your boundless heart and saturated mind.

Joel good to see you back in bloggville. But I'm a little confused by your statment on life. IT sounds like you are saying that greatness only comes by chance, and that those who were great were forced into the title. But if that is true then wouldn't you want to be talented in as many things as ossible, so when the greatness fairey comes along, she might stop a couple of times. Or are you saying she only visits the ones with a real commitment to one talent? Anyway, I totaly agree with that everybody else should stop flawnting their talents around me, especially when they're more talented at the things I want to be talented at. Like all you good actors should take up the trumpet or graphic arts.

Unfortunately, he is still the one who caused so much pain, death, and suffering. So, what do we do with him? Iguess we turn him back over to his people for judgement and sentence. At least I hope that what we do, and I hope it pisses off every bloodthirsty redneck in this hole damned country.

MARRIAGE:
In olden times, sacrifices were made at the altar, a practice that still continues.
Getting married is very much like going to a restaurant with friends. You order what you want, then when you see what the other fellow has, you wish you had ordered that.
Marriage changes passion ... suddenly you're in bed with a relative.
The secret of a happy marriage remains a secret.
All tragedies are finished by a death, all comedies by a marriage.
Marriage has no guarantees. If that's what you're looking for, go live with a car battery.
They say marriages are made in Heaven. But so is thunder and lightning.

CONGRATULATIONS TO JOEL & DEANNE!!!
Being the senior member of the "Marriage Group" ( I got JC by a year ). Everyone will start handing out advice, heres mine..."Don't take peoples advice".
Every marriage is different, therefore what does & doesn't work for others won't affect you the same way.
Heres some quotes on marriage...
Always get married early in the morning. That way, if it doesn't work out, you haven't wasted a whole day.
In olden times, sacrifices were made at the altar, a practice that still continues.
Getting married is very much like going to a restaurant with friends. You order what you want, then when you see what the other fellow has, you wish you had ordered that.
If variety is the spice of life, marriage is the big can of leftover Spam.
When a man brings his wife flowers for no reason, there's a reason.
Whatever you may look like, marry a man your own age - as your beauty fades, so will his eyesight.
Marriage can be viewed as the waiting room for death.
I never knew what real happiness was until I got married. And by then it was too late.
Marriage changes passion ... suddenly you're in bed with a relative.
All tragedies are finished by a death, all comedies by a marriage.
A man in love is incomplete until he is married. Then he's finished.
A coward is a hero with a wife, kids, and a mortgage.
A good marriage is like a casserole, only those responsible for it really know what goes in it.
Marriage is a three ring circus: engagement ring, wedding ring, and suffering.
My favorite-
By all means marry; if you get a good wife, you'll be happy. If you get a bad one, you'll become a philosopher.

Frank's reflection:
I’ve been trying, and not completely succeeding, to avoid indulges more than two times a day.
I can usually avoid one with no problem,
the second always protrudes.
There are days I can make three of four.
I didn’t avoid enough yesterday.
I’ven’t dried up today.
I’m also trying to eat better.
That’s proving to be more of the indulgence than
avoiding copious amounts
When I have the time to return a meal.
Well I do.
Sadly running from work to no rehearsal to
plan the performance for after their rehearsals,
doesn’t allow much in the way of time.
But I’m trying.
One final thing to do.
Exercise.
Big monkey on my back
Actually the big monkey is costing “us”
Yep.
I’ve been cultivating the “little” too much now.
He has become too comfortable.
So comfortable, in fact, that he’s pulled up a
persona that can buy popcorn and proceed to
watch the movie, and all is dulled – that is my
life.
And trying to shake it off is like trying to shake a flaming steel-framed building.
Walking is an option that I like.
I enjoy walking.
It’s actually a great exercise.
But I’ve noticed something about it….
It takes time.
And I’ve noticed that even when I have enough time to do it.
I piss myself off.
A lot.
More than a little should.
Well, enough parallel for one day.
Joel & Deanne will call to hail their first weekend together.
there, I have what I’ve said.

Great blogger moment.
My first blog photo was dedicated to the man that gave me my first comment!
Thanks Bruce!
You never disappoint and blog often; therefore, I'm never disappointed more often. Brilliant! You work on many levels, which doesn't rhyme with poet, if you didn't know it.
Again, like the hippies say, just cause you aren't here doesn't mean we don't see you anyway.
You should take pride in having a personality that you don't even have to show up for (but should still be a little worried because it's hanging out with a bunch of lunatics).
If it's any consolation, my man and I are killing ourselves to have what you have someday. Buying a house is reduced to a pipe structure every time I look at my bank account (PVC, at that! Veeegas, baby. Plastic dreams. But neon if you're union! and just like with the theatre: copper,...if you are tearing it down.)
Unfortunately, patience isn't one of my virtues,
but I know we will make it there,
just as I know you'll be surrounded
by more people than just your friends
next time you are here
- and not all fully clothed.
After all it's my wedding!
Even if it weren't, you still would, free or not, wanted or not.
As much as I get down on myself, nudity is a naturally frequent commodity that goes completely unquestioned because it's me.
I like that.
So will you, next visit, even if it's footage you've seen.

A couple of nice theatre moments:
Sitting in the SEAT theatre, with JayC and Tony Devalle, I heard the first song Joel ever played for me open a show.
Seeing my boys open a theatre.
Telling my favorite stranger, that my favorite delivery of his was because it was not strange.
Knowing everyone mentioned personally in an entire Las Vegas page of reviews.
Making Charlie laugh, making Rob laugh, enjoying another it-was-just-for-us joke with JayC, and having my man tell me I'm funny.
Sending Sherry off to L.A., you can't go home, and you can't stay here, go west young woman: it's the cleanest pasture you've got.
There are more, but if I could bore myself I'D be asleep, so forget 'em.

Tom, what a fucking ride you are on. Don't envy it. Court sucks, court reaaaallly fucking sucks, but more managable if hungover (and especially hungover on your birthday- it was a great hair of the keg party after, too, mind you).
Don getting married.
Oy.
I'm all for it. It's actually the second marriage in the last 2 weeks of people close to me, for visas.
I was in that situation once. Don't envy that one either.
Mine turned out for the best because of Joel, but the situations were very similar.
Long distance, it what this is, just with fucked up paperwork. It will only work out if the person moving has more potential waiting at the other location.
Mine did not. Took me 7 years to epiphany that, but no matter my obstinance, it's very true.
That's why Joel is here now. That is why I am less skeptical about Don's nuptual haste because Don's girl has the luxury of already knowing the life she wants to keep along with loving a man so morally dignified that he'll open his apt. door only for one that is willing to be recognized by the state of CA in a legally blessed union. Win, win, for both sides, if you ask me.
Although, I am still quite angry over how long one knows about the time constraints of such INS issues, and I was given 4 days notice to show up to catch the garter.
Fucker! I would've totally been there!
Hope it's pretty, and all the best.

Sitting in the SEAT theatre, with JayC and Tony Devalle, I heard the first song Joel ever played for me open a show.
Seeing my boys open a theatre.

Go ahead Frank, it's ya birthday.
Go Shawty, it's ya birthday.
We gon' party like it's ya birthday
We gon' sip Bacardi like it's ya birthday
And you know we don't give a fuck
Cause it's ya birthday!
So go give Frank a hug if you into to getting
rubbed.
Hope you had a great Birthday, Frank!
(I'm glad we didn't celebrate up "in da club" because all I have is 50 cent.)
I have much more to say, but couldn't go another day without giving a shout out before it got too far away before I could again blog today.
(boo, sorry, unintentional, but I am a sucker for some good juicy ass...onance)
So there you go, my dear Frank, now you can tell everyone that for your birthday Deanne gave you a little ass, but it really wasn't that great.
I'm also sending up some Streetcar & Twisted copies, but that's not technically a gift because of the blatant self promotion.
And it's REALLY not a gift because I've never seen you onstage, so either you got to move, date a stewardess (or pilot,...or steward), or you owe me a video. Kind of shitty part about being a friend of mine, I never forget shit like that.
So once I find out how to work the DVD copying software at work, it's on it's way with some other stuff. I have access to all kinds of mailing materials, so I'm including some stuff to ship the CDs down.
Now that we have the theatre up and running, the wedding planning malarky again takes front burner (that still smokes when turned on because cleaning the stove remains on the back). Ha! What would that be exactly? Is there a term for a figurative object applied objectively as itself? Hmmm. I'll have to come back to that. I'm tired and that sort of knowledge is out of my (oh god, i'm sorry) range.
How embarrassing. Just remember it's the thought that counts.
It was the only humor I could afford.
I could have just emailed this, but it's late, my server sucks, and two trips wasn't worth it after I blogged the b-day cheer. Sorry, guys.
Soooo
i say bye and Joel say - he was looking up "something positive" and he thinks it's really cool
goodnight you
goodnight everybody
very good night Frank

HAPPY NEW YEAR, Everyone!
2004 was a nutty ride. Very fucking nutty ride.
My long-distance relationship turning engagement being the last thing I would have expected to Joel's G-string winning a local award which, of course, was the first.
(lvcitylife.com/articles/2004/12/30/theater_and_dance/stage.txt)
Resolutions:
Keep off the bad habits
Keep off the snacks
Work on comedy
Work on publishing the book
Plan the wedding
Plan the payment of our debt
Say the word "FUCK" whenever possible because it's funny
Say the words "I Love You" whenever possible because it's rare
Help those who will help themselves
Help those who will not help themselves lose my fucking cell phone number
Listen to less stations that might play Beyonce
Listen to more BILLY SQUIER, yeeehaa!
Try to keep current on my email correspondence
Try to keep current on my blogging
Not drive Joel crazy
Not let Joel drive me crazy
Begin working out (yeah, a worn one, but I've got to wear a strapless gown in 5 months)
Begin working out routines
Start recycling again
Start bicycling again
Fuck a LOT more, yes, lot's more fucking for 2005 -
that goes for all of you, dammit!
New Years only comes once a year, let's hope you all can do better than that!
My best wishes to all you nuts for a good, happy, sweaty 2005!
Don't let me down!
