Missing the Moon reinstated: 11/9/03

I checked the time.
I was early.

I did not get a second chance.

Some things are powerful enough to eclipse the entire universe itself.

Nothing else could exist tonight. All earthly and celestial entities evaporated in its wake.
Exposed because I have no place for it to go. There never had to be one before.
So it will just sit there... all else held captive.

Even if I had caught her dark beauty, I'm not so sure that I would have been able to remember to be thankful.


I only hope you saw it.

I hope you saw us both smiling back.
